Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has warned that tonight is expected to be a critical night for road traffic in Kosovo, due to the significant drop in temperatures.

According to him, the great contrast in temperatures, with forecasts that they will drop to -9 degrees Celsius, increases the risk in traffic, as roads wet from rainfall can freeze overnight.

Kurti announced that all road maintenance companies are constantly on the ground to facilitate traffic and prevent accidents.

He emphasized that it is necessary to implement the law for the winter season, including equipping vehicles with winter tires and chains.

The acting Prime Minister has called on citizens to avoid unnecessary movements at night, while those who are forced to travel should drive with increased caution and adapt to weather conditions.

According to Kurti, institutions are doing their utmost to guarantee road safety, but the cooperation of citizens is also required to reduce risk and increase overall safety./Telegrafi.
