Huge respect to the Ukrainian drone pilots doing what they can to avoid killing the animals
Looks like the Russian shot his own horse before being hit
Good work by the drone operator, he did all he could to save the innocent.
Oh… literally cavalryÂ
This is like the 4-5th time!
Ukrainians killed the animals, by the way horses are ok.
Einstein, sticks, stones, etc
Can someone more experienced explain what’s happening with Russian military equipment in Ukraine?
I’ve been following footage from Ukraine since the invasion began, and I’ve noticed what seems like a significant pattern in Russian equipment usage that I’m hoping someone can help explain.
Early in the war, we saw extensive use of tanks and armored vehicles. The infamous turret tosses were everywhere. But over the past year or so, I’ve noticed far fewer tank videos. Similarly, armored personnel carriers that were common early on seem to have largely disappeared from the footage I’m seeing.
Instead, it seems like Russian forces have progressively shifted to using civilian vehicles – trucks, cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, and most recently I’ve even seen videos of troops on horseback.
My questions:
– Is this shift as significant as it appears, or am I just seeing a skewed sample of videos?
– If it is real, what’s driving it? Equipment losses, supply issues, tactical changes?
– Is the apparent severe degradation of Russian military capability actually real, or is something else going on that I’m missing?
I’m genuinely trying to understand the situation better, so input from people with military knowledge or who’ve been tracking this more systematically would be really helpful.
_”One for all and all into the chernozem.*”_
* chernozem literally means “black earth” and is the name of the extremely fertile soil in large parts of Ukraine.
Nukes and their numbers are literally the only reason they are strong and why this war is still happening. They’re really using horses now would you believe that if someone told you this 4 years ago?
There should be no peace agreement or end of the war with Russia keeping any of Ukrainian territories. This war has already costed them a lot and we need to make sure all that effort and cost turns into nothing.
So that maybe the Russian people will finally realise there are better options than living under the same one bald dictator for many years and maybe finally throw him out of the window.
