Presented at the CES 2026, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is a premium ultrabook powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite (a tad more advanced than the Snapdragon X2 Plus), an ARM-based system-on-chip designed to deliver significant performance improvements for Windows laptops. Introduced as the 11th-generation Yoga Slim 7x, the device highlights Lenovo’s continued investment in ARM-powered computing, alongside updates across its broader product lineup.

Inside the Yoga Slim 7x is the Snapdragon X2 Elite family, which is an improvement over the Snapdragon X1 Elite. The X2E-96-100, which is the most advanced model, has up to 18 CPU cores, indeed a big jump from the 12 cores of the Snapdragon X1 Elite.

This new SoC is expected to make a big performance jump when combined with instructions per clock (IPC) improvements that are made every generation. While Windows software compatibility is still a crucial component, Lenovo and Qualcomm continue to position this platform as a rival to Apple Silicon. The most likely beneficiaries are those who operate Windows workflows that are native to ARM.

A top-tier OLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz is featured in the 14-inch Yoga Slim 7x. Lenovo says the panel is exceptionally bright (up to 1,100 nits), covers all DCI-P3 colors, and has a Delta E value below 1, which makes it ideal for creative work that needs accurate color reproduction.

With a 70 Wh battery and the power-efficient Snapdragon X2 Elite, you can use it for up to 29 hours, which is one of its best features. The laptop can accommodate up to 2 TB of solid-state storage and 32 GB of LPDDR5X-9600 memory.

In terms of design, the Yoga Slim 7x is remarkably portable, weighing approximately 1.13 kg (2.6 lb) and measuring only 1.39 cm at its thinnest point. The device is equipped with a 9 MP front-facing camera, a four-speaker audio system, and a large 108 cm² trackpad. Additionally, it contains three USB4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Starting at US$949.99, availability is anticipated the following quarter.
