The scenario of Venezuela in Belarus is unrealistic. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the ceremony of awarding the prize “For Spiritual Revival”, as well as special prizes to cultural and artistic figures and the “Belarusian Sports Olympus” in Minsk.
So he commented on the situation in Venezuela against the background of the seizure by the Americans of the country’s president Nicolas Maduro.
“Do you remember last year’s meeting of the Security Council of Belarus, where we assigned roles in case of “what if there is no president?” Listen to how they looked into the water. Therefore, the option of Venezuela in Belarus is unrealistic. Even if this happens, we have everything planned for this case,” Lukashenko said, quoted by BelTA.
The Belarusian leader noted that “to prevent this from happening,” the elite should “see and know their place.”
