The US has looked like Germany in the 30ies for quite some time already. With Trump 2.0 you’re now somewhere in 1933, but it started already in the run-up to 1.0.
Well, in some aspects. In others, it’s more like for decades, considering how the penal system is basically work camps overwhelmingly populated by minority ethnicities. Sorry to break it to you guys, but you’ve been living in a partly fascist society all your lives. Trump isn’t a cause, but a symptom. It’s at least as much a dropping of pretences as it is a descent into fascism.
