Monopoly is a game where the whole point is to buy property and bankrupt people through ever-increasing rent. It’s an edition that is made for my suburb, so that way it feels even more real! I swear real estate agents don’t think about things for more than 15 seconds.

Ask the RE agent if the owner has a mortgage, because if so he can’t collect rent.
Now you cant say you’re surprised when they kick you out in 3 months so they can knock down and build a hotel.

RE agents do everything in their power to deserve the reputation they have.
I mean real estate agents are not often REAs becuase of their tact, moral values or intelligence.

Fun fact: monopoly itself was stolen from Elizabeth Magie who invented (and patented) *The Landlord’s Game*. The Landlord’s Game was even more critical of monopolies and advocated for a land tax as a way to redistribute wealth more equally.
Magie also advocated for womens rights and the rights of black people in the US. Somewhat ironic then that a man stole her idea, passed it off as his own and became massively successful from it.
