Nottingham Forest, currently 17th in the Premier League with 21 points, is going through a difficult period and is considering strengthening its attack with Mehdi Taremi. According to the newspaper O Jogo, the Iranian striker could be made official during this transfer window, benefiting from the good relationship between Olympiacos and the English club, both owned by Evangelos Marinakis.

This season, Taremi has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 19 matches for Olympiacos, numbers that have attracted the interest of the English club. Nottingham Forest is looking for a striker capable of boosting the team’s position in the standings and ensuring survival, currently sitting seven points above West Ham, who are in 18th place and occupy the first relegation spot.

The Iranian international played for Rio Ave in the 2019/20 season and represented FC Porto between 2020 and 2024.
