If it makes you feel better – I gambled $250 on a slot and won 25k. Never cashed out until I was down to my last $500.

This was almost 5 years ago, back when stake and all these online casinos were becoming popular.

The amount at that time would have been enough for my remaining college tuition + a good emergency stack before I entered the job market.

Greed is the worst of vices. It gives you a sense of overconfidence, until you have nothing left.

If nothing else, I got a free life lesson that paid me $500.

Although, I don’t even want to delve into the psychological impact this had. Took me almost 3 months to get back to my senses.

  2. This right here is why the stock market works. People get greedy and don’t take profits. They don’t cycle In and out and just let positions rot because it could be ten times more

  3. I took 3x profits but still feel kinda bad because I could’ve made more. Damn investment psychology.

It’s good to always tell myself that most will take a loss in this game. The 60k I’ve made so far is the money of bigger fools 😎
