There was more confusion than that. He got passed the note, read it out loud (bad enough) then he was asked a question and he asked Rubio what to say and mumbled something about the note again as if he’d instantly forgotten what it said. At one point he got up and said he was looking at the ballroom out of the window. He’s dementia ridden, has no idea what’s going on and should be in a home.
