1. Ex-Nevada basketball star Jordan Caroline signs with Lithuania team

Jordan Caroline, who starred for some of Nevada’s best basketball teams, has signed a contract with BC Rytas Vilnius in Lithuania. The 29-year-old started this season at Saint Quentin in France where he averaged 10.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 13 games. He played in Italy and Spain last season and also has experience in Australia, Israel, Japan, Taiwan and the NBA’s G League. Caroline played for the Wolf Pack from 2016-19, setting the Mountain West record for career double-doubles and helping Nevada win four conference titles and qualify for three NCAA tournaments. BC Rytas Vilnius (9-4) is in second place in the nine-team Lithuania league standings.

2. Longtime Reno Ace Tristin English signs with Braves organization

Tristin English, who has been one of the Reno Aces’ staples the last three seasons, has signed a minor-league deal with the Atlanta Braves organization. English played 84 games in Reno in 2023; 111 in 2024; and 93 in 2025, ranking among the franchise leaders in a number of categories. The first baseman/outfielder made his big-league debut last season, going 2-of-22 in seven games, with his first hit off Cy Young winner Paul Skenes. English was a third-round pick by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2019. The 28-year-old will join his second MLB franchise with the move to Atlanta, his home-state team after being born in Stockbridge, Ga., and playing for Georgia Tech in college.

3. MW basketball tournament single-session tickets on sale

Single-session tickets for the Mountain West men’s and women’s basketball tournament are now on sale. The tournament is set for March 7-14 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Single-session lower-bowl tickets range from $25-$125. Tickets for the 200 Level are available for the men’s sessions only and range from $45-$75. Mountain West Club passes are priced at $600 and can be added to any ticket. The MW Club is the premier hospitality area located in the Strip View Pavilion and includes 12 premium meals throughout the week, exclusive access to MW promos, giveaways and MW merchandise discounts and opportunities for on-court contests and experiences.
