Very selfish of actual Venezuelans to have views about their own country. Do they not realise how unfair that is for the hard left?

Pretty pathetic that the people of the country you are supposedly protesting for are protesting against you.

It’s sort of a weird situation, where obviously Venezuelan people are happy because the dictator is gone…but you just know they’re going to get absolutely fucked by the US when it comes down to it.

>McAliskey said she expected those Venezuelans to “live long enough that they will curse the tongue in your head that ever blessed imperialism”, which she said was the reason for poverty in Venezuela in the first place.
Very weird to blame the current poverty on future “inperialism”.

Such a pity SF want get to attend anymore of Maduro’s inaugurations
Problem is… the Venezuelan diaspora and the ones protesting against Maduro, left because their country went through a socialist revolution. The ones protesting who remained in Venezuela, the poor who suffered tremendously prior to the Chavez don’t seem to keen on US liberation…
It’s like the Cubans protesting Castro…from their mansions in Miami..
We call out the poverty in Venezuela and blame Maduro, but the country has been under US sanction.. of course if it can’t trade the situation in country is going to get worse.

I’d like to know what percentage of people marching on behalf of the Maduro regime are actual Venezuelan. I’m amazed how many Irish people in recent weeks are speaking on behalf of Venezuelans and failing to listen. They just want to stick to their ideology

“Several political parties were represented, including Sinn Féin and People Before Profit (PBP) as well as the Éirígí grouping.
PBP TD Paul Murphy and former MEP Clare Daly were among those attending.”
Excluding the extreme republican Éirígí. This is a cohort of the supposed united Left that is going to challenge the FF-FG duopoly.
Good luck to the SD, Labour and independents trying to rally support for a united left alliance from the average swing voters when they’ve to align themselves with the above lot.

Hot take, if your Venezuelan and you think US aggression is a good thing, it just means your Venezuelan and wrong, I don’t think the 8 counter protestors who showed up today represent Venezuela
Edit: added the link here as well as in a reply to a request for it too. Tell everyone you know, show everyone who cares to learn; Trump does NOT CARE about Venezuelan people.

There’s a full scale imperialist invasion occurring in Europe right now but America can’t be blamed for it so these clowns ignore it.

How dare these rich self righteous cunts from half away across the world tell the average Venzuelan and Iranians that their wishes dont matter. Racist pricks just trying to use this moment to further their own ideology.

People are falling for the exact same Iraq war propaganda in 2026, crazy. If the US cared about removing dictators then they wouldn’t be supporting the brutal dictatorships in egypt, saudi arabia, uae, jordan etc etc…..
