Many Turkish Germans are frustrated with the government for allowing a large influx of refugees and Eastern Europeans into the nation. However, they find themselves unable to support far-right parties like the AfD, as Nazis do not distinguish between German Turks and refugees or Eastern Europeans. It’s fascinating to see that they possess a keen understanding of the complexities of German politics.
Despite this, they continue to cast their votes predominantly for leftist parties, primarily out of a need for self-preservation rather than genuine ideological alignment.
As a community, we certainly lean towards conservative values.
