Congratulations you’ve collected a gang of teenage magpies! They hang out like this, learning how to be big boy birds until they find a territory and mate of their own.
But also don’t feed them please, they’re at an age where they’re learning to feed and forage for themselves and this doesn’t help.

As much as you think you are helping, you are not.
Magpies move out of their territory once they are adults. If someone is feeding them they don’t and they get very territorial.
Our neighbour feeds them and now he have vicious magpies that attack our chickens as they them as competition.

How many times do people in the Aussie subs need to be told: don’t feed the wildlife!

The Mynas are the cause of things like one species of bird being so concentrated in one area as the mynas chase off other species in particular maggpies because they are carnivores and will eat them or their young, opposite for us in our area unfortunately mostly mynas and no other birds, count yourself lucky to have a flock of magpies near you like that because they don’t normally trust humans, the magpies will also keep away undesirable birds like the mynas while still allowing other species of birds to nest near them

Same thing happened at my place with cockatoos. Our mango tree is quite popular.

Want to make it self-funding? Set up a coin operated automatic feeder. Scatter coins all over the yard. Go out to feed them, but pick up a coin and operate the feeder. Keep doing this until one picks up a coin themselves and puts it in the feeder.
