The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost 0–10 to the Chinese women’s national under-18 team in their fourth game of the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B tournament in Katowice, Poland. The IIHF award for best Australian player of the match was given to defender Johanna Meissner and defender Jasmine Chen was named the hardest worker for the team. The result is a decline compared to last year where Australia lost 0–6 to China.

In the other games of the day, Poland defeated Great Britain 4–3 and Austria shutout Spain 8–0. At the end of the fourth round, Australia remains in last place on the standings, while China continues to lead in first with a one point lead over the second placed Poland. Australia takes on Great Britain today for their final game of the competition. The two teams last met at the 2023 World Championships where Great Britain won 2–1.
