In the German city of Augsburg, in the German federal state of Bavaria, two teenagers set fire to a Christmas tree. The local police reported the incident,

The incident occurred on January 6 around 4 PM on Wilhelm-Hauff-Strasse. According to witnesses, the teenagers first set off fireworks in the parking lot, then set fire to one of the street Christmas trees and immediately fled.
The fire was promptly extinguished by rescuers, and the extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
Nearby, police detained two boys – aged 11 and 15, with the older one holding Belarusian citizenship. After being taken to the police station, the teenagers were handed over to their legal representatives.
