Average Unemployment Benefit Size in Latvia Calculated
In November of last year, 27,337 people received unemployment benefits. The highest number of unemployment benefits in 2025 was paid in February – to 35,174 individuals.
At the same time, the maximum average benefit size was in August, when it amounted to 542.50 euros.
Unemployment benefits are paid for no longer than eight months. The amount of the benefit depends on the insurance record and salary.
