Italy holds the world’s 3rd largest reserves and store up to half of it in the US.
Edit: France has the 4th largest reserves, and guess what? They don’t store any significant amount in foreign countries.

No fucking shit. Russia helped Trump and his oligarch friends rig the 2024 and probably the 2016 election, and there’s zero pushback or accountability because the US is a full on authoritarian oligarchy/kleptocracy now.
Not a trustworthy or remotely competent partner, and you can’t build stable alliances or institutions on that kind of foundation.
It’s almost hilarious how easily Putin has been able to dismantle every US institution from the inside.
