  1. I expect then I should be able to violate my city bylaws or provincial laws protecting trees then if I leave the stump as a nominal protest either for or against the forrestry industry. It would not be minimally impairing and disproportionate. I suppose these are the types of cases we were intended to bring under the Charter when it was enacted and a sane use of public/court resources as a society.

    Somewhat less sarcastically, the nature of the various alleged breaches and the history of how this ended up where it did paints both sides in quite a negative light.

    JFC this is ridiculous. As someone that has spent several thousand dollars of money and several hundred hours on my hands and knees pulling noxious weeds off my property because of people “rewilding”

    I have no problem when it is done well but 99% don’t
