Colton-Pierrepont seventh-grade students recently completed a Middle School Capstone project focused on environmental issues and solutions. As part of the initiative, guest presenter Miss Shelli shared how she combats throwaway culture by creating clothing from thrifted and donated materials. To inspire students at Colton-Pierrepont Middle School, she handcrafted mittens for each student using recycled fabric and organized a white-elephant exchange to distribute them. See story here.
