  1. “As reported by Automaton, the novel claimed both the Grand Prize and Reader’s Choice award in a contest run by AlphaPolis, a Japanese publishing company.

The novel was initially set to receive a physical book release and a manga adaptation, but the publishing company later confirmed those plans had been cancelled after it was determined the novel was largely generated using AI.”

*People will be able to tell ai from human works because it has soul* -Mofo’s when Ai art wins competitions and awards.

People are fighting a losing battle, there’s going to be so much quality ai art from random people who have a idea they want to share but lack the artistic or literary prowess to reach it.

  3. People don’t appreciate that it takes work and finesse and patience and creativity to coax an AI model to produce something of high quality like this. Maybe not for long, but for now it takes skill. A different skill that de novo authorship, but related.

Good. Please keep majorly/completely AI generated art out of my feed and authentically human created art contests. I’ve had to unfollow many accounts on Instagram because they keep posting AI slop. Even the cat pages. I’m good, just give me actual cute cats, why the fuck would I want AI generated cats (especially when not even noted as being AI generated). I fucking hate AI generated shit that poses as real. The first platforms that manage to somehow work past this shit will have my membership.

    *stares blankly*

Ye-e-e-eah. No wonder no one noticed anything unusual.

  6. False information.

This article is horrible. First off, it doesn’t even state the novel’s name. That’s how low quality it is.

Second off, if you research this outside of this horrific article you will find that the writer used AI to write 5% of the novel. That’s basically not using ai to write. I write myself and often I used ai to help with phrasing when I feel stuck.

Mods, take this post down for being an extremely poor article that manipulates reporting to the point of lying and straight up propaganda like misinformation.

Edit: the novels name is Tokyo-to Dojo-to btw. It doesn’t state it in this garbage article.

I love that this comment is being downvoted.

Nothing is more Reddit than downvoting someone who did the research who showed the blatant lie in a post. It’s beautiful.

    Actual NPC’s complaining about AI.

“How I used AI to Win a Literature Contest and the Heart of the Demon Duchess in Another World as Reincarnated Truck-kun”

  9. They probably noticed because their was no truck kun. Makes me suspicious of time travelling LLMs effecting other manga!

Why don’t they just do their due diligence in the first place? ALWAYS check for AI it should just be common sense going forward for all the arts.
