Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein Offers Prayers for Victims of Crans-Montana New Year’s Eve Tragedy
Geneva: Members of the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein (TCSL) held a memorial service at Rikon Monastery in Zurich to honor the victims of the Crans-Montana tragedy, which occurred on New Year’s Eve and resulted in the deaths of 40 young people, with many others injured.
The service was attended by Tenzin Choesang of the Tibet Bureau in Geneva, monks from Rikon Monastery, and senior officials and executive members of the TCSL. The gathering offered prayers for those who perished in the ski resort fire and wished for the swift recovery of the injured.
