The Seismic Observatory at the Faculty of Mathematical and Natural Sciences in Skopje announced that in the first hours after midnight, at 01:14, an earthquake was recorded, the epicenter of which is located in the neighboring Republic of Greece, 116 kilometers southeast of Skopje, with a local magnitude according to Richter, ML 2.9.
“According to the data available so far from the observatory, the earthquake was also felt in Prilep and its surroundings with intensity level III according to the European Macroseismic Scale,” the Seismic Observatory announced.
