While I have my issues with my countries government domestically, the support for Ukraine (across both major parties) isn’t one of them.
I just wish we’d do even more than we already are, giving them new capabilities is great but giving them those capabilities in *volume* is better still.
> The production rate is 10 missiles per month, with a maximum price of $1.07 million.
That’s the problem, it’s a system we could use ourselves so why isn’t the production rate *much higher* and unit costs typically go down with volume production.

Deep inside Russia is a stretch, it’s about 500km range … Still going to be a great capability though, can work under GPS jamming and has terminal steering to make it harder to intercept on a pure ballistic arc

The UK has had short range ballistic missiles that can hit targets at ranges like that since the 1960s. Why do they need to design new ones for Ukraine?

This is the only language Russia understands. Unlike Macron and Meloni, who still believe Putin can be reasoned with, at least the UK understands what would actually force him to finally end the war.

I wish Canada would develop similar missiles that use a wide range of warheads, and were capable of alluding modern air defences. “To help Ukraine”
OhDamnNotAgainAndAga on
I am doubtful they can finish developing those and produce en masse in time for it to actually be effective

Wait, isn’t Ukraine building 3 flamingo missiles a day? Why do they need help in developing a missile with worst capabilities than the one they supposedly have?

Do they work on countries acting like Russia?

Great. Being able to make Russians feel some pain for their war crimes will likely end this war quicker. Russians have been gleefully bombing hospitals, schools, and apartment buildings for years in Ukraine.

I don’t get it. $12 million for development is like student project budget. Is it a mistake?

The UK doesn’t already have missiles capable of striking deep into Russia from Ukraine? Really? I assumed they would have a ton of them.
