Charalambous resignation an act of self-confidence and trust, President says
The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, described in a written statement on Monday the resignation of his political office’s director, Charalambos Charalambous, as an act of self-confidence and trust.
He said that he received Charalambous’ letter of resignation today and accepted it. “I consider it an act of self-confidence and trust,” he added.
“The departure of Mr. Charalambous, who is distinguished by his hard work, ethos, and integrity, is a loss of a valuable colleague in the great effort we are making to upgrade our country, based on the Governance Program, which is our contract with the Cypriot people. I thank him warmly for his cooperation and wish him all the best for the future,” he concludes.
