Can anyone explain whats the policy for parking infront of this sign? Does this mean that anyone can park here outside of the time 9-18H? Or it is only for disabled all round the clock?

Parking space is for disabled people. In the time frame between 9 and 18 it is allowed to park there for a maximum of 2 hours.

  2. During those hours only disabled with the permit, outside those hours anyone can park there.

Ok let‘s hope I‘m mot wrong: parking only for drivers with the respective „allowance“ ID; max 2hrs and only between 9 and 18 o‘clock…otherwise no parking…could be e.g. a parking space that‘s very conveniently close to let‘s say a clinic but no „everyone“ parking to make sure ppl with disabilities have a shorter distance to cover..and outside of office hours there‘s no reason for using this spot so no one should park here..

    Afait, reading from above downwards:
    – Parking is only for disabled people
    – It is two-hour parking by using a parkmeter (not using a park meter or not setting it correctly is against policy)
    – Both parameters only count from 9-18 o’clock
    – From 18-9 o’clock you can park without a park meter and/or disabled badge

If this is wrong, please correct me 🙂

  5. Or it is only for disabled (with the proper “blue” permit) around the clock. From 9am until 6pm their parking is limited to 2 hours and they also need a parking disk.

If you have similar questions regarding traffic/parking signs or rules, head over to r/StVO

  6. You read signs always from top to bottom, the lower signs further restrict the upper signs.

So here it parking, only for person with a disabled parking permit, but only two hours and only during the day.

(If you want to have multiple things, then it has to be on the same sign like “Free for bikes AND delivery services”)

  7. Parking is allowed only for vehicles displaying a valid disabled parking permit; between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., parking is limited to 2 hours with a parking disc. Outside these hours, parking is allowed without a time limit, but still only with the permit.

  8. It is very very bad signage.

StVO specifies very precisely, that the auxiliary sign applies only to the sign above it. When one auxiliary sign is under another one, the one below applies to the other auxiliary sign, not the main sign.

The literal, according to the rules interpretation is following:

Parking, only for people with disabilities. They can park with the disc for max 2 hrs, but this limit does apply only between 9:00 and 18:00.

The intention probably was that between 9:00 and 18:00 reserved for people with disabilities, that can park there for 2 hrs with parking disk. Outside the hours regular parking without limitation. But nobody will know…
