Baryon Investment Fund has announced an investment in Airvolute, which develops hardware and software solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the fund, these solutions are used as a technological component in the production, scaling, and reliability of systems.

The fund described the investment as support for the Airvolute team and its approach to technology development.

Airvolute is a deep tech company that develops software and hardware for AI-controlled autonomous unmanned systems.

“Our flagship open-architecture autopilot platform DroneCore can support various kinds of vehicles in conducting pilotless missions,” the team  says about itself.

According to Crunchbase, Vision Ventures previously invested in Airvolute. At the pre-seed stage, it invested $500,000 in October 2020, and at the seed stage, it invested $1 million in March 2023.

The fund was founded in late 2025 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Baryon Investment Fund plans to invest in Eastern European and Ukrainian startups in the field of defense technologies.

Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov is listed among the fund’s advisors.
