The Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi, held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of North Macedonia, Angela Aggeler.
As announced by his cabinet, President Gashi expressed gratitude for her personal dedication, professional approach and support for democratic processes in the country.
“Its role in strengthening institutional cooperation, building trust and advancing dialogue with the Parliament was particularly emphasized. President Gashi also expressed gratitude to the US Embassy for its continuous and strong support for the Republic of North Macedonia in strengthening democratic institutions, the rule of law, stability and the Euro-Atlantic orientation of the country. In this context, gratitude was also emphasized for the United States of America as a strategic partner and ally.”
“President Gashi emphasized that the contribution of Ambassador Aggeler and the US has left a visible and positive mark on the development of democratic and modern processes in the country. He also expressed confidence that friendly relations and cooperation will continue in the future,” the announcement states.
