An avalanche has killed a 13-year-old skiing off-piste in the Austrian alpine resort of Bad Gastein, in the country’s second avalanche death since Sunday, rescuers said.
The Czech child was skiing with another minor when the snow flurry swept him away around noon, according to Andreas Kandler, Bad Gastein’s mountain
rescue chief.
