The roughly 60 participants wore kimono or suits and white sashes on which they had written their resolutions or dreams such as "do something good for my parents" or "try something new."

They worked up a sweat taking about an hour to walk up 1,637 steps to the observation deck on the 60th floor.

    Saw that women were wearing kimono but had gym shoes on. It would have been murderous if they had to climb up wearing geta sandals.

    Too bad there weren’t anything similar in Tokyo.
