Although some think that the problem is over, it is not; if the council’s proposal is approved it will be a serious blow to privacy at the European level. Instead of forcing companies, American technology giants would be given the option to scan our messages, in addition to cloud services. I consider that it is important now more than ever that we send emails to the MEPs to show support for their proposal (which is more focused) over that of the council, in addition to the fact that if you can also send emails against the provisional law, which they want to extend for two years and which has not shown an effectiveness that justifies it, the better
