It should be noted that Russians frequently reffer to this as Soviets “letting” the Baltics leave USSR. Murdering 14 people and injuring hundreds of people in Vilnius alone does not even register for them as Soviets trying to hinder Baltic independence.
The same they did in Afghanistan when they retreated after asking for an agreement with the northern rebels for safe passage themselves. They murdered a good lot of them after having tea together.
Great people overall
Ruzzio terrorists executing civilians and committing war crimes. Checks out.
See Americans….. THIS is how you stand up to tyranny
It takes exceptional courage to stand in front of tank like that. Lithuanian freedom from russian tyranny was not gained easy.
Barely a year before the full on collapse by the USSR. Hopefully yesterday’s protests could be the mark here and that the US regime falls on the 26th of december.
And heartily recommended to never come back. Piss off
The reason why some of us gets to live in a democracy is thanks to these people in the photo. They sacrificed themselves for us and we must not take our human rights and civil liberties for granted.
