Malta will select its Eurovision 2026 entry through “MESC 2026” (The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026).
The hosts of the shows will be:
- Destiny Chukunyere: The singer represented Malta in Eurovision 2021, where she finished 7th in the final. She was also the winner of Junior Eurovision 2015.
- Gaia Cauchi: The winner of Junior Eurovision 2013.
- Keane Cutajar: a popular TV host

“MESC 2026” – Known Details
- The selection process will feature a semi-final and a grand final.
- The semi-final will take place on Thursday, January 15th, 2026.
- The final will take place on Saturday, January 17th, 2026. 12 artists will qualify for the final.
- The results will be based on public votes and jury votes.
- Destiny Chukunyere, Gaia Cauchi, and Keane Cutajar will host the shows.
- Interval acts will be:
- Semi-final: Tommy Cash, Gaia Cauchi, Ivan Grech & Band, Jamie Cardona
- Final: Baby Lasagna, Miriana Conte, Scream Daisy, Destiny
Malta has been allocated to perform in the 2nd half of semi-final 2, which will be held on May 14th, 2026.
Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
