What, instead, is likely is that, behind the scenes, European countries will know that they cannot count on the US and they will continue to reap whatever benefits they can in the short term, but they will make changes behind the scenes — make their own security agreements, bolster their own defenses, etc. And only when they don’t need us, they will not be there for us. Our agreements will still exist, but they will be fake.

If they want to cut all diplomatic ties with America, should raise their military power ASAP to fight against Russia’s ambition. However, that’s not easy. Honestly, easier said than done. It will take European countries a significant amount of money and a considerable amount of time to prepare. So far, NATO’s core part was operated by the US military, frankly speaking. France and Germany must take a considerable amount of time to rearm themselves if they want to have a more powerful military. However, Russia won’t lose the situation.
