A surge in NATO military transport flights at Rzeszow highlights intensified logistics, with aircraft from Belgium, Canada, Poland and the UK arriving at the hub.

A sharp uptick in NATO military transport aviation activity has been recorded in the Polish city of Rzeszow. Since January 10, the local airport has received a series of aircraft involved in the movement of military cargo and personnel.

Among the arrivals were two Airbus A400M Atlas transport aircraft operated by the Belgian Air Force, along with a Polish Air Force Gulfstream G550 used for official missions. The airfield also hosted two Canadian Lockheed CC-130J Hercules aircraft and a heavy Boeing C-17A Globemaster III belonging to the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom.

Reports also point to the landing of another British Airbus A400M Atlas, a Dassault Falcon 900EX business jet, and two Airbus A330-243 MRTT tanker aircraft designed for long-range flights and strategic operations.

Rzeszow plays a critical role in NATO logistics and has long served as a central hub for supplying Ukrainian forces with weapons, ammunition, and other military cargo. The sudden increase in flight activity may indicate an expansion of deliveries and a broader intensification of logistical operations in support of Ukraine.
