My hatred of the Republican Party is limitless; however, the incompetence of the Democratic Party in the face of open fascism is staggering. There are obviously progressive stars within the party, but establishment Democrats are complicit in the rise of fascism due to their continual capitulation to the right wing. Schumer and Jefferies can’t even commit to abolishing ice. Newsom can’t even commit to a wealth tax. Most Democrats can’t even agree whether or not Israel is committing a genocide. Thus my hatred for the Democrats is also unlimited because they should be operating as a resistance party to the Republican’s fascism. My fear is that without radical change, the Democrats will eventually be replaced in four or eight years with an even worse version of Donald Trump, and all we will do is kick the can of fascism down the road a few more years.
