  1. In the Polish context all I can say is fuck all eurosceptic parties who think alliance with the USA is a viable alternative to EU. They’re all delusional.

  2. He is not wrong. If USA would indeed invade Greenland and Europe would engage then that’s basically guaranteed invasion from the east for Poland and Baltic’s

  3. Germany sails across the ocean to defend Greenland from American fascists, France sends more troops, and the Poles avoid the front. World War III seems like a reverse World War II.

  4. Poland is part of europe and with europe we should stand, not the us. I was waiting for this decision and kinda proud of it, but not happy with president Nawrocki.

We should have brave new world and for a long time it looked like it. But now I’m quite sure we aim for some global 1984 dystopia.

  6. Oh, so we’re not going to support Danish imperialism? Good.

My God is the EU a major hypocrite now.

  7. To be fair, the others sent like 30 guys combined. It’s a symbolic gesture, one I don’t think Poland can afford with our president being a trumpist.

  8. lmao Reddit tier circlejerk comments how right/far right is delusional about USA being cornerstone of defence for Poland

take a look at Ukraine, without US it would fall in 2nd year.

dear poland, we know you are busy on your eastern border.

thank you + love, from denmark

  10. Liberals as always, deep inside their own as, almost riching right wing level. As long as shareholders making profit, everything else is relevant. You can expect same reaction from Denmark when we will be calling for help. But if instead Denmark, USA will call us for help, they would send whole army tommorow. Of course this have nothing to do with being american colony. Thanks to liberals again, far right wing is on our door steep now. 1930 all over again with spineless centrist in charge…

  11. As usual, Poland doesn’t give a shit about anyone but Poland. When Italy was overrun by immigrants, Poland refused to help in any way … not even by sending aid, tents, blankets, police, doctors, anything …. But when there is pressure on Poland, the whole of the EU helps. Same with Greenland, Poland fears to offend the US but does not understand that one day, maybe there will be no solidarity for Poland.

  12. Dobra decyzja.

The end of the world began in 2022, and now it is simply the consequences of “deep concern and anxiety.”

  14. Seems logical. Every day we can push breaking up with the US further into the future gives us a day more to rearm for detering or confronting Russia. Furthermore conflict with the US is probably politicaly bad in Poland.

Seems like another right choice by Poland in terms of security.

I’d go there to visit and look around. People seem cool, and the views are stunning. Just drive me closer to a Yankee so I can hit him with my sabre.

  16. PSA: Poland before ww2 was preparing for invasion from Russia but when Germany turn natzi we had quickly developed “Plan Zachód” because it was not that obvious at first. It does feel like we are in similar situation right now as EU.

  17. Europeans will send troops and Trump will order invasion anyway. At this point, either the generals turn on Trump and the USA go in a civil war or the Europeans will have few dead bodies to convince them to federate and get a single army. Especially the polish.

Please, just let it make sense. Nuclear “superpower” invading Ukraine didn’t “end of world as we know it” and no one sent any troops. But another nuclear “superpower” invading Greenland apperently will “end of world as we know it” and it is so important to send troops there. And I don’t think that Poland and Denmark both in NATO rule applies here. We are talking about NATO invading NATO. NATO is dead at this point. NATO was dead yesterday, year ago, NATO is dead since 2014.

  19. That is very idiotic from perspective of Tusk.

    1. Danes in the even of Russian aggression on Poland (more likely than invasion of US on Greenland) may now understandably say that they won’t give a fuck about us.
    2. US invasion on Greenland is not very likely.
    3. It costs literally nothing from perspective of 38mln country to deploy like 100 soldiers there and delegate a vessel to patrol the sea. Implications in the event of American attack on Greenland would be more severe, like attacking soldiers from a most pro-US real country in Europe (excluding Kosovo) is a bad PR
    4. Solidarity, c’mon.

  20. Boo.

Poland is NATO. So is Denmark. If Poland won’t honor the alliance, there is only one winner. And he sits in the Kremlin.
