The Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in close coordination with relevant Kosovo Police units and justice institutions, has today carried out the extradition of a Kosovo citizen from England to Kosovo.

The suspect was arrested by the English authorities, after being wanted by an international arrest warrant issued by the justice institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, for the criminal offenses of “Attempted Murder” and “Causing General Danger”.

The extradition was made possible thanks to successful cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of the United Kingdom.

Upon arrival in Kosovo, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police units for further legal proceedings.

The Kosovo Police, through the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, has announced that it will continue the exchange of information and cooperation with local institutions, states and international organizations, with the aim of preventing, investigating and detecting criminal activities, as well as tracking and arresting wanted persons inside and outside the country. /Telegraph/
