SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) – A local business is hosting a blanket drive to help keep East Side Soup Kitchen visitors warm during the cold season.
Simply Restored Handyman Services is holding the blanket drive on Friday, Jan. 16, starting at 3 p.m. It will be located at the Immanuel Bible Church of Saginaw at 5433 North Center Road.
Simply Restored said the drive will provide the Soup Kitchen with blankets to hand out to guests in need. The blankets can be new or used, and must be clean and free of stains or tears.
