After a few cold days in Ljubljana, the green-whites traveled via Barcelona to the vicinity of Girona, specifically to Navata. There, at the Torremirona resort, they will spend the next ten days completing the bulk of their preparations for the second part of the current season, with an emphasis on a double work program. The Dragons will also play three friendly matches in the coming week.

Head coach Federico Bessone took 32 players on the trip. Among them are Matevž Vidovšek, Matevž Dajčar, Tijan Vasić, and Vid Pertovt (goalkeepers); Diga, Frederic Ananou, Marat Žlibanović, Veljko Jelenković, Jan Gorenc, Ahmet Muhamedbegović, Miljan Pantić, Matej Henjak, Marko Ristić, Jošt Urbančič, and Danylo Malov (defenders); Agustin Doffo, Jurgen Çelhaka, Jasmin Kurtić, Žiga Pečjak, Inas Kukavica, Jan Jurgec, Frano Mohorovićić, Mateo Aćimović, and Tristan Kotar (midfielders); and Nemanja Motika, Pedro Lucas, Kelvin Ofori, Dino Kojić, Marko Brest, Alex Blanco, Antonio Marin, and Dimitar Mitrovski (forwards).

After a long absence, Vidovšek and Ristić are back with the team. Žlibanović, who spent the first part of the season on loan at Ilirija, has also joined the group of young hopefuls. Kelvin Ofori is the first winter newcomer and will wear number 97 for Olimpija.
