    The new aid package was announced on January 16.

    Finland’s defense authorities did not disclose details about the contents, delivery method, or shipment timeline for operational reasons. It is noted that this is done to ensure the security of delivering the assistance to Ukraine.

    This will be the 31st aid package that Finland has sent to Ukraine.

    The total value of defense equipment provided by Finland to Ukraine amounts to EUR 3.1 billion.

    As previously reported by Ukrinform, in October 2025, the Finnish government, under the PURL initiative, pledged EUR 100 million to purchase U.S.-made weapons for Ukraine.
