Italy Sends Heating Equipment to Support Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure Recovery

In the coming days, Ukraine will receive the first batch of heating equipment from Italy to support regions that have suffered the most losses due to attacks on the energy infrastructure. This information was confirmed by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov.

According to him, the deliveries are the result of negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

As part of the first phase, 78 industrial boilers with a total capacity of 116.5 MW will be delivered to Ukraine.

The second phase of aid is planned for the next six months. During this time, Ukraine is expected to receive more than 300 boilers with a combined capacity of 806 MW. This equipment is planned to be used to stabilize heating provision in the face of ongoing strikes on critical infrastructure facilities.

Impact on Heating and Stability in the Regions

Thanks to this support, Ukraine will be able to ensure more reliable operation of heating systems in the regions that suffered the greatest damage. It is expected that the new boilers will help restore heating more quickly and reduce risks for residents during the cold season.
