Sunday’s Coverage: Kyiv Warns of Russian Strikes on Nuclear Plants
In his nightly address to the nation, Zelensky spoke of his briefings from Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal about restoration efforts. He noted the work of additional crews in the Kyiv region, where some residents have been without power for 10 days.
Everything clearly shows that diplomacy is not a priority for Russia.
This must be acknowledged. And pressure on the aggressor and the real cause of this war must continue. The cause is in Moscow.
If the Russians seriously wanted to end the war, they’d focus on diplomacy—not on missile strikes, blackouts, and even attempts to damage our nuclear power plants.

The Russians murdered at least two civilians and injured at least six overnight in the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine. Another person was slain in Kharkiv city in the northeast.
The invaders also targeted energy infrastructure in the Odesa region in the south.
