The Embassy of Poland in Azerbaijan has expressed condolences in connection with the January 20 tragedy, APA reports.
The message was shared on the embassy’s official account on X: “On 19–20 January 1990, Soviet forces brutally entered Baku, suppressing protests by the Azerbaijani people and killing many civilians. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland honors the memory of the victims of those events and expresses its solidarity with Azerbaijan.”
