  1. That’s because such QR payment is a joke. If you check it by user’s phone user can easily imitate not just sound, but successful payment screen as well.

    That’s also an issue when those PayPay dummies are wasting time in the line trying to pay at places with bad connection.

    I always make sure to shove the payment confirmation screen in to the cashier’s face even if they trust me

  4. There should be a confirmation on the seller from the server side if there was a completed transaction. These people didn’t bother to check.

    We’ve only ever used cash, credit card and the aeon app, all of which the register validates. Doesn’t PayPay have any confirmation on the vendor side?
