The Slovenian national team is the favorite and can easily defeat Kosovo, Slovak media have reported, based on the rankings of the world football body, FIFA.
FIFA on Monday published the new rankings, where Kosovo has climbed one position (79) despite not having played a single match in November.
Slovak media immediately reported on the FIFA rankings, using them as the basis for why Slovakia will defeat Kosovo in the 2026 World Cup play-offs.
“The ranking speaks for itself. We must defeat Kosovo,” the media outlet reports.sports.sk“.
In fact, based on the ranking, Slovakia ranks many times better than Kosovo, because it occupies the 44th position in the world, almost twice as high as us.
