January the 20th, 2026 – Croatia’s beloved Ledo has successfully acquired the internationally recognised AEO customs status.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Croatia’s popular Ledo plus has acquired the prestigious AEO status of an authorizsd economic operator, on the basis of which customs authorities throughout the European Union (EU) recognise reliable partners in customs operations (AEO-C – Authorised Economic Operator – Customs). The title is awarded by the Croatian Ministry of Finance, Customs Administration. This is an internationally recognised status that is awarded to a limited number of companies that meet extremely strict criteria for customs compliance, transparency and reliability of operations.
Croatia’s Ledo acquiring the internationally recognised customs AEO status has confirmed the compliance of the company’s operations with the applicable EU customs regulations, as well as a high level of orderliness of internal processes, business control and excellent management of business and customs documentation. Holders of this status are recognised by customs authorities as very reliable economic operators in international trade.
The process of granting AEO status includes a highly detailed and comprehensive assessment of business processes, organisational standards and management systems, and its successful completion confirms Ledo plus’s long-term commitment to responsible, stable and compliant operations.
