Discussions are reportedly under way within Donald Trump’s administration about the US possibly granting asylum to Jewish people from the UK, according to the Telegraph, citing the US president’s personal lawyer.
Trump lawyer Robert Garson told the newspaper that he has held conversations with the US state department about offering refuge to British Jews who are leaving the UK citing rising antisemitism.

There’s at least enough smoke in the UK for Trump to make offering UK Jews asylum plausible. Another issue where Trump is a prick, but can’t just be dismissed out of hand. The UK should do better for its Jewish population.Â

Most of those interesred in Trump’s offer will be those connected to (US funded) far right-wing politics, so it hopefully will lead a shift to those like the leader of the Green Party being the most represented.
