The well-known activist of the Albanian-American community in the United States of America, Harry Bajraktari, has publicly supported Vjosa Osmani as president of the country for another term.
The bannerman, who was rumored in public as a possible candidate for president of Kosovo, through a video on Facebook, called on MPs, both from the ruling party and the opposition, to vote for Osmani for another mandate.
“For 5 years, President Vjosa Osmani has worked closely with the Albanian-American community and our friends in Washington.
The work we have started together should not be stopped, the objective is clear, Kosovo’s membership in NATO, which is why I strongly supported a second term for President Osmani.
For five years, President Osmani has represented Kosovo with dignity and strengthened the relationship with the U.S. Now more than ever, we need strong institutions, coordination with allies, and leadership that understands the process.
“Kosovo gains nothing from divisions, blockades or new elections. I call on the deputies, the ruling party and the opposition, to vote for President Osmani for a second term as head of state,” says Bajraktari. /Telegraph/
