Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ), Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investment (HAMAG-BICRO), and the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth (MZOM) are organising the National Info Day of the Horizon Europe Programme – European Innovation Council (EIC).

The event will be held on 18 February 2026, from 9:00 to 16:00, and will be held in English in a hybrid format: on site at the the Regional Centre for the Development of Entrepreneurial Competences for South-East Europe (SEECEL) in Zagreb (Radoslava Cimermana 88) and online via live streaming.

The aim of the National Info Day is to inform and encourage new potential applicants from the academic, creative and technological sectors to prepare and submit project proposals to EIC calls, as well as to present the EIC Work Programme 2026

In addition to providing information on the calls, the event will offer valuable opportunities for interaction and networking among participants, aimed at fostering connections with potential project partners.

The programme will include a panel discussion on the successful preparation of project proposals, featuring members of EIC evaluation panels and EIC grant recipients who will share their experiences and present successful projects. In addition, there will be a session providing practical guidance for preparing competitive applications to the EIC Accelerator and delivering effective project pitches.

One day earlier, on 17 February 2026, a training session will be held as part of the Access2EIC project. The training will provide entrepreneurs with practical guidelines and best practices for a successful application to the EIC Accelerator, including the preparation of a high-quality project proposal and pitching. The EIC Plug-in mechanism will also be presented, enabling faster access to the full EIC application process for projects already supported by national or regional programmes.

The event programme and registration for both the Info Day and the training will be soon published on the national Horizon Europe portal.

Participation is free of charge, but the number of participants for both events is limited.
