Honestly, can someone just tell him, “Yes, Mr. Trump, we all agree with you. You’re so smart and such a master of diplomacy. We’ll let you station as many troops as you want in Greenland and will let you have access to their mineral rights because you’re such a great statesman.”

Basically trick him into agreeing to whatever current deals we already have in place with Greenland. Bonus points if they trick him into taking less.

  2. If the US keeps up this rhetoric, NATO should just start shutting down a US base in Europe every week. The US military’s key advantages after technology is logistics and force projection…which are enabled by a network of bases worldwide. But if Trump wants America to be alone and to threaten its allies, then maybe it’s not a safe idea to host US bases any more. It will be much harder to make threats if the US loses its entire footprint on the European continent.

  3. Can the US really be in a position to offer anything that resembles intelligence under the current administration?

  4. This feels less about Greenland itself and more about reminding the US that NATO isn’t a one-way street. Power projection works best when allies feel respected, not pressured.

  5. In order to safeguard American interests and promote our security, LETS THREATEN OUR ALLIES!!!! Heil Drumpf

trump crying about not getting the nobel prize and having a greenland toddler tantrum.

he’s never been told no in his life, hasnt he?

such an entitled, petty, whiny little bitch wimp he is.

and it has real consequences now for the world. the above sentences when read you’d think is about a 5 year old and not an 80 year old president.

    meanwhile, epstein…sasha riley…

*”Europe is at a total loss and, to be honest, it’s a pleasure to watch this,” gloated the Russian tabloid Moskovsky Komsomolets in one of its articles about Greenland.*

*”On the Russian TV show One’s Own Truth, hosted by Roman Babayan, political scientist Sergey Stankevich said in Trump trying to take* [*Greenland*](https://www.newsweek.com/topic/greenland)*, Americans are “delivering a catastrophic blow to NATO because one country that is a member of NATO is taking away the territory that rightfully belongs to a country that is also a member of* [*NATO*](https://www.newsweek.com/topic/nato)*, despite all protests and despite international law.”*

That’s Putin through his state media cheering this on and happy that his puppet in the White House is executing his plans of destroying NATO from within perfectly.

  8. We must boycott Estée Lauder!
It was this billionaire friend of Trump who suggested in 2018 that he seize Greenland. Massive boycott of this brand and this billionaire who thinks he can get away with anything!

  9. Just wait until they start threatening with ASML’s machines and trump will be impeached within a day.

  10. and over Ukraine for sure, leaking intel straight to Russia like a good asset or just a terrible being

  11. Just a few years ago, NATO seemed indestructible, especially after Sweden and Finland’s accession. But here we are, all because of one man. Until Trump, no one ever imagined that a US president could pose the biggest threat to NATO. It’s becoming harder and harder to dismiss his actions as narcissistically driven idiocy. If he continues like this, the damage he could cause by 2029 could be irreparable.

Chinese EVs in Canada, trade agreements meant to circumvent the US, NATO beginning to decouple from the US, and we’re not even halfway through this term yet.

For all of you who voted for this, I hope you enjoy everything you’ve sown. As someone who didn’t, I’ll never forgive you guys for spitting in the faces of our allies who shed their own blood alongside us after 9/11.

  13. The conservative sub, aka MAGA, says its sll just a joke – trump is just trolling – nothing ever happens – lighten up!

    Insanity over there

  14. The diapered child molester sends every Intelligence report he gets to Putin. Not only is he a rapist but a traitor as well. 🤮

  15. An unfortunate but practical decision to be made until responsible executive leadership is restored in the USA.

  16. It’s hard to overstate how important the five eyes are. They share basically everything by default.

This is a massive hit to relations.

  17. After reading the news that ukraine gave the US fake intel to see if it ends up in russia(which it did) we shouldn’t give them anything anymore

  18. NATO needs to create a blockade around Greenland right this instant otherwise the US is going to gutterstomp its way onto Greenland.

  19. “An empire toppled by its enemies can rise again. But one which crumbles from within, that’s dead. Forever.”

  20. So. Much. Winning.

Nov2024 showed it: as a nation, we are 1/3 stupid and 1/3 lazy. Infants and dogs learn from their mistakes better than many of us do

I think many people here havnt yet accepted that Trumps goal is breaking NATO. Thats been his goal the entire time. Hes trying to take Greenland because hes preparing for a post NATO world heirarchy. The Western Hemesphere strategy was taken straight out of a book thats been refrenced and called Putins Playbook. Hes following the steps word for word.

Trump takes Greenland > the US becomes isolated and viewed as a rogue state, losing its european allies > Russia uses the seperation as a chance to improve relations and create a Europe/Russian alliance > the book also mentioned Russia annexing Crimea and Ukraine and using disinformation to fuel social unrest within the United States.

Its all happening line for line, i should just take off my tinfoil hat at this point.

  22. Curb?!? They should completely end it. I wouldn’t trust the USA with school lunch money.

We have so much intelligence in the white house they we don’t need anymore! The best, the brightest, the most intelligent people are working at the white house. Smarter than anybody actually. So much smarter than Joe Biden. Thank you for paying attention to this matter.

  24. Treat us like the enemy we have become. Everything you share with us goes directly to not just Russia but everyone. See the text sharing that just occurred.

  25. Years from now, I hope we all remember that the strongest military alliance in human history was undone by a 79 year old orange toddler because Republicans were too cowardly to tell him “no”.

  26. SubwayHero4Ever on

Smart. Didn’t Ukraine give out fake intel to the US to see if they were passing it to Russia recently? And sure enough they did?

  27. UsefulImpact6793 on

Someone inside the United States better put a stop to trump the traitor’s belligerent actions against our allies before it’s too late.

Curb it all. Curb stocks, purchases, shipments and America citizens too.

Isolate the pedophile protecting country as a whole.

  29. 5 eyes isn’t sharing Carribbean surveillance with the USA any more

Republicans ruined America. Hard to be a shittier or more hypocritical American than a Republican these days.

  31. Big_Test_Icicle on

Trump is the epitome of the average American today…self-centered, solely focused on obtaining in any way possible, and putting on a mask to show others how great they are. America deserves Trump in every single way. Hopefully the average American can repriortize soon.

  32. darth_helcaraxe_82 on

All the people of the US had to do was not vote for a child rapist. That was too much to ask of them.

If America collapses into whatever, it deserves it. We had more than ample time and opportunities to not go down this path.

  33. byediddlybyeneighbor on

Other NATO countries shouldn’t be sharing intelligence with a Russian asset in the first place.
